Is ibuygreen a shop? 

No ibuygreen is a comparison site. We search the internet for the best prices on household goods and appliances. Once you have chosen your product at the best price and have clicked on BUY NOW you are then on the retailer’s own site and will be dealing directly with them from that point.

What products are available on ibuygreen? 

Most electrical household products are available. Everything from dishwashers and fridge freezers, to MP3 players and digital cameras.  We are constantly updating our products and categories. To view a full list please look at our site map.

How do I find a product? 

You can do this in several ways: either type in the product you are looking for into the search bar on the home page, or use the category section on the left hand side of the page where you will find products listed by group. Once you are on the product page, there are further options for you to choose from on the left hand side of the page to help you find exactly what you want.

Yes this is very easy to do. Just tick the boxes of the products you are interested in and then click on the compare prices button. This will then show the chosen products side by side for comparison.

Are all shops on the internet searched? 

We are not able to search all shops on the internet as there are so many. We have chosen the most reliable and established online retailers who offer the best prices. We are constantly looking for new reliable retailers to add to our existing retailers.

How does ibuygreen keep up to date with prices? 

We have our own programme that updates prices throughout the day. This makes sure we have the most up to date prices for our customers.

Why are there some products without an enrgy rating? 

We rely on the retailers to supply as much information about the products as possible. There are a lot of retailers who have a good amount of information but there are some who don't. When a product only has one or two retailer prices and those retailers do not have the energy efficiency information then no rate will show. 

I want to buy a wine cooler but I can only find one with an energy rating why is that?

Wine coolers are quite a new product category. So as a group they have not been tested and rated yet. 

Why are some energy ratings on the merchant sites different to those on ibuygreen?

We rely on the merchants  for all the product information including the energy rating. If there are several merchant offers for a product the system will choose one merchant to take the information from. It is possible that a different merchant will have another rating. We are committed to quality at ibuygreen and we are continually checking the information provided.
