Congratulations to Al Gore for being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with the UN International Panel on Climate Change. The Nobel Peace Prize panel felt that individually he has done the most to create worldwide understanding of measures that need to be adopted to slow climate change. Gore has had a really good year winning an Academy Award (Oscar) back in March for his work 'An Inconvenient Truth' highlighting the issues of climate change in the modern world. It is reported that Gore is going to donate his share of the prize fund to a climate change charity. He sounds like an all round good guy!
